Who are you?

We are a small independently owned company, and sister site of Revega Hair Extensions, a small business run by a very small team.

Our founder Jenna, is a Master Craftsman, State Registered Senior Hairdresser, Hair Extensions Technician, and AET Awarded Educator with over 20 years experience in the hair and beauty industry, with a wealth of knowledge in the field of Hair and Cosmetics.

We pride ourselves on our great customer service. We're here to answer any questions or help with any issues. We want you to be 100% happy with your order.

Most issues can be avoided by reading the product description and the FAQ before placing your order.

We always provide all information upfront so that you are aware of shipping times and item specifications before placing your order.

Why buy from us?

By purchasing from us you are not only supporting a small indie business, but you can be confident that our products are ethical, cruelty-free, and that we are following ALL required safety legislation relating to the manufacturing and sale of cosmetic products.

We only sell products that we happily use ourselves.

Where do you ship to?

Every country has its specific regulations relating to the sale of cosmetic products. We are working to comply with as many countries as possible and will add them to this list as we begin shipping to them.

Unfortunately due to the new regulations since leaving the EU requiring all cosmetic companies to have a dedicated base of operation/responsible person in an EU member state, we are currently unable to ship to EU countries, sadly this includes Northern Ireland. We are working on being able to shortly.

We currently ship within the UK only.

But other indie cosmetics businesses ship worldwide, why don't you?

Some other businesses may have been operating longer than us and therefore have been able to go through the legal processes to comply with overseas regulations, this takes time and investment and is something we are working on right now.

Also, sadly there may be some businesses who are unaware of these regulations or are actively ignoring them. Not complying with cosmetic regulations can land companies with hefty fines and prison sentences. While other companies may be OK with this, we are not. They are there to protect the customer, to ensure the products being sold are manufactured to high standards, hygienic, fit for purpose, and do not contain any substances that they shouldn't.  

How do I place an order?

Simply select the item and click the add to cart button. When you are ready to check out, Click on 'Cart' in the top right. You can view your cart there and adjust quantities or remove items before checking out.

Can I phone you with my order?

No, we only accept orders via the website at this time.

How do I cancel my order?

Send us an email to contact@revegacosmetics.com or via our contact form, with your order number, stating that you would like to cancel. This must be done before 3 pm on the date of ordering to ensure your order has not been processed and shipped already or that we haven't started making it (as many of our products are made fresh to order).

Can I add items to an order I have already placed?

You are welcome to email us to check, but in most cases, your order would already be in the process of being packed or shipped and therefore it won't be possible to add to it. You can place a new order, and if possible we will automatically combine the two and refund any excess postage to you.

What do I do if I have received the wrong item/s in my order?

In the unlikely event of receiving the wrong items, please contact us via email at contact@revegacosmetics.com or via the contact form, with your order number, stating what you received in error and we will forward your details for returning the goods for exchange or refund.

Can I return goods if they are no longer wanted?

You have 14 days to cancel and return your items for a refund, so long as they are unused, unopened and the hygiene seal (if there is one) is intact.

How long will my order take to arrive?

We only sell products we physically hold in stock, so that you can receive your order quickly. We ship all orders received by 3 pm the same working day if they are ready-made up. If you order after 3 pm on a Friday, your order will despatch Monday. Any items made fresh to order such as skincare, soaps, etc, will ship within 1-3 working days. 

When the item ships relate to when it leaves our warehouse, and does not include shipping times.

Pre-orders Information

In a rare instance in which we offer a pre-order product (perhaps for a pre-launch new product that's expected to be in high demand), we will clearly state PRE-ORDER in the product title until the day that it is held in stock.

Pre-orders will vary on the time frame, and as such, information on when it is expected will be posted in the product description. 

Where is my order?

Whilst we mostly ship same day if orders are received before 3 pm (and not made to order) Monday to Friday, there will occasionally be delays due to weather conditions, seasonal backlogs at Royal Mail such as Christmas, or public holidays. The shipping estimates are those of Royal Mail and are exactly as suggested - estimates. If you require a guaranteed delivery date then email us to check if this is possible before you order.

We also ask that if you are checking up on an order with us that you give us enough information to look into it for you. Please give us the name you ordered under, the email address associated with your order, and your order number.

Occasionally Royal Mail or a courier may attempt delivery when you are out, in this case, you should have received a card, however, this isn't always the case. Even if there is no card left for you please check with your neighbors and local Mail Collection Office before contacting us, as in a lot of cases the item will be sitting there waiting for you.

How much is Shipping?

Shipping costs will vary depending on weight and destination. You can get a shipping quote by clicking 'My Cart' and following through the checkout process. You will see the shipping options available for you. You can then either select your preferred option and progress through checkout to pay for the order, or go back to make adjustments, or discard.

Do you sell wholesale?

We are happy to fulfill wholesale requests on certain product lines. Please email us a bit about you and why you want to stock our products.

Can you offer White Label products?

We are happy to do white label for certain product lines. However, to avoid flooding the market with replicas of the same product repackaged, which we feel is deceptive to our customers, we would work with you to create your unique products. Additional costs may apply. Alternatively, as above, you can contact us regarding wholesale of our existing range of products.

 

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

Debit, Credit cards, and Paypal.

Can I set up an account?

Yes, when you make your first purchase, you will be asked if you would like to create an account with Revega Cosmetics. This will make ordering in the future a lot quicker for you. Please note for your security, we do not store any payment information.

What is Paypal? How do I get a Paypal account?

Paypal is a secure online payment facility. You can learn more or create an account at www.paypal.co.uk if in the UK or www.paypal.com for the rest of the world. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still checkout without an account. Simply choose the 'pay with credit or debit card option.

My order was this amount when I went through the checkout, but Paypal says more. What is going on?

Please check your Paypal confirmation email, as you will see a currency conversion. Orders made on our site are in UK pounds sterling. When converted into US dollars, for example, this will appear as more. It is simply the same amount converted into your currency. For current currency conversion rates, check xe.com.. though please note Paypal exchange rates may differ slightly.

 

Products and Packaging

Are your products vegan?

All of our products are ethically sourced, and cruelty-free. All are vegan where possible, and we have listed on each product listing if the product is vegan.

We are PETA-certified cruelty-free.

Are your products Natural and Organic?

Some yes. These will be clearly labeled. You can search for either by typing into the search bar, and all those related products should appear for you.

Note that natural and organic are not the same thing and products can be either of these things, none of these things, or both.

Natural refers to a product's ingredients being derived from plant, mineral, or animal by-product (though we are vegan were possible, and aim to be completely vegan over the coming year).

Organic refers to how the ingredient was farmed - without pesticides, chemical fertilizers, sulfates, parabens, or GMOs. 

We will always opt for Organic ingredients in our products where they are available.

Are your products safe?

Yes, we pride ourselves in following the Good Manufacturing process in accordance with ISO22716/2007. Our products are manufactured in a clean, sterile environment.

ALL products on our site have undergone stability and compatibility testing, microbiological testing where required and cosmetic safety reports have been done. 

We will only source our ingredients from reputable, reliable suppliers who also go through these safety steps.

Check ingredients if you have allergies.  All allergens present in any products will be listed with a star before them ( * ).

We are PETA-certified Cruelty-free. 

Do you make the products yourself?

Yes, the majority of products are made by ourselves in-house. We have a minimal amount of products formulated for us right now, just to ensure that we have the range required; however, we are working on making the full range of products in-house :)

Where do you source your loose pigments?

Again, please see the 'OUR ETHICS' page. As with any business, we cannot give out supplier/manufacturer information, but we hope the information on this page helps to answer any concerns you may have.

All of our pigments are sourced ethically from sustainable, reliable, and trustworthy sources.  

Why is my cream eyeshadow cracked?

Our cream eyeshadows are packed with pigment to give them as intense a colour as possible.  Combine this powder pigment with the cream shadow ingredients which include a natural wax, means that temperature changes can cause it to expand and contract within the pan causing the shadow to occasionally crack.  This does not affect its use in any way.

I have allergies, are your products suitable for me?

All products have been tested in accordance with strict UK/EU regulations and we comply with GMP (Good manufacturing practice ISO 22716) so that your products would not have come in contact with any specific allergens unless listed on the bottle/container.

Ingredients (INCI - International Nomenclature Cosmetic Ingredient) 

for each product are listed on the website, so please check these before placing your order, and if unsure, consult your GP.

Nut allergy sufferers should check the oils, as whilst many are not derived from nuts, some may contain traces.  Please check the ingredients before purchasing.

I am pregnant, can I use your products?

There are some essential oils that are not suitable for use during pregnancy, we cannot advise on this, but we would suggest that you consult your doctor/midwife and check the ingredients before purchasing.  If you have any questions, or anything isn't clear, please email us.

What sizes do you sell your loose pigments in?

Our loose pigments are sold in little jars with 1g approx of product. 

Note that our pigments have a high colour intensity, so very little goes a very long way. 

Is your packaging recyclable?

Mostly yes. We try to be as environmentally friendly as possible, packing orders in recyclable boxes or paper jiffy bags where possible, padded with paper. Any bubble wrap, or packing peanuts we use are biodegradable.  We use glassine bags to protect from leakage, which are also biodegradable.

Our cosmetic containers are recyclable where possible. 

Do you offer re-filling?

Sadly no, we cannot offer this for health and hygiene reasons.

I received my Body Butter melted, what do I do?

Due to the nature of body butters etc, they are prone to melting if they get too hot.  So when ordering in hotter months, you may find it has melted a little in transit.  Just pop it in the fridge for a little while and it'll firm back up to its usual texture.  If the temperature in your house reaches 25 degrees C or higher we recommend storing body butters in the fridge, this comes with the added benefit of helping to cool you down in summer when you use it :) 

Do you work with influencers?

Yes, we are open to that, but you must genuinely have bought and like our products as we only want authentic reviews.  

You may combine us with other brands in your photos, but these brands MUST be cruelty-free.
